Real Life Experiences with ADHD
What do ADHD kids go through?
Teachers say your child is "difficult" and/or "unfocused". Punishments don't work, rewards don't work. They fight with their siblings or don't play well with others. How on earth do you handle your ADHD kid?
ADHD: What does it mean for you or your family?
ADHD, otherwise known as Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, is something the newer generation is afflicted with in this day and age. Yet, not many know how to deal with it. Many ADHD sufferers don't even know they have it! But let's get to the question:
What exactly is ADHD?
According to Wikipedia, "Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurobehavioural disorder[1] characterized by either significant difficulties of inattention or hyperactivity and impulsiveness or a combination of the two." (Check out the full details on Wiki!)
Now, this has a whole host of implications, but in short, children or adults with this condition find it really difficult to concentrate on academics. Why though? Because ADHD manifests unique symptoms that affects a child's ability to concentrate on things like boring old paperwork unless they're doing something they enjoy.
